Tidebringer
Somewhere deep within twisting veins of many planets is a writhing stream of water where primordial
beings roam, itching to break out. A tide is coming that shall swallow all, and wash all that ever was
away. It has no name, but many call it
Tidebringer, the one that shall swallow all.

The Tidebringer is an eldritch force with many followers. Their purpose is to create rifts in the dam that
				keeps reality safe from The
Ancient River, so that the Tidebringer may eventually breach that world and swallow it whole. It
spreads its spawn across universes so it can gain access and power there using his wyrms and cultists.

It hides deep within the tangled halls and caverns of the ancient river, a non-euclidean plane that can be
used to travel between universes. The Tidebringer's cultists use the river for travel to worlds that are
				ripe to be eaten.

Swallower of Worlds
When the Tidebringer takes over a suitable world, it happens in a few distinct steps:
- Cultists travel the ancient river under the guidance of symbiotic wyrms, entering worlds that are potentially suitable to be taken over by the Tidebringer.
- The cultist's goal is to get eaten by local inhabitants of that world, infecting them with the reproductive part of the wyrm. Over time, the water on that planet will get poisoned by worm eggs. Upon drinking the tainted water, local beings get turned into conduits without having any awareness of this happening. Cultists that die in the process get recreated by the Tidebringer, once again, using the Wyrm's abilities.
- Conduits feel a strong urge to protect gates to The Ancient River. Every time cultists visit a world, more gates to the ancient river will be opened until the dam that protects that reality from The Ancient River finally gives in and slowly starts flooding that world.
- When conduits come into contact with water from The Ancient River, their infected bodies start signaling the Tidebringer. Once enough conduits come into contact with the water, one of two things happen: either the Tidebringer bursts directly into that world to eat all life on it. Or, if that world’s defensive capabilities are strong enough, it sends leviathans to “pre-digest” the world before the Tidebringer's arrival.
The Tidebringer's corporeal form is incomprehensibly large. When it reaches the point of digesting a
world, it keeps its main part of its body inside The Ancient River, while the rest of its body feeds.
After it is done feeding it usually leaves, with the exception the case where a world brings a tactical
				advantage to the Tidebringer.

In the rare case that a world or universe becomes a threat to the Tidebringer ,it can easily withdraw
itself back into The Ancient River. The the river is near impossible to navigate without a wyrm, making it
a protective barrier for the Tidebringer.
